-     Digetic sound: iPhone keys typing then right to voicemail

-     Katelin:” Luke.. He knows, I repeat he found me.”

-     Digetic sound: Phone hang up 

Scene 3

-     Digetic sound: Increase In footsteps 

-     Diegetic sound: bag zipper and packing noises

-     Diegetic sound: Sound of keys and door closing

 Scene 4

-     Diegetic sound: car engine starting 

-     Diegetic sound: Car moving

-     Diegetic sound: Radio

-     Diegetic sound: Car and radio turns off

-     Diegetic sound: car door closes

-     Diegetic sound: slow foot steps

-     Diegetic door: Slam of a door

-     Non diegetic sound: heart beat and intense music rising

-     Katelin, whisper,” Sorry luke”

-     DS: Boat engine starting

-     DS: Phone rings

-     Katelin,” Luke Hurry up”

-     Attacker,” *chuckle* Times up, let the chase begin”

-     Diegetic sound: Boat engine getting further.  

-     Lighting goes dark

Change of Plans

As the title states, there has been a change of plans in terms of the product of my final task.  I will have to cut the total amount of script to a minimum.  I have changed my aspect of what I want to create and I am leaning more towards a euphoria aspect. In euphoria contains flashbacks with a monotone voiceover. According to an article written about the producer's opinion of the show, " The look and feel of the show are as superheated as adolescence itself. The colors are bold, the score and needle-drop songs are loud, and the camera rarely sits still when it can glide, swoop whip-pan, or spiral. Every episode starts with a speedy prologue outlining the backstory of a recurring character shot, cut, and scored like a “previously on” recap of someone’s life. (Levinson wrote all eight episodes in the first season and directed five.) Title Design Research: Thriller 30 days of Night

  1.      How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Ni- Nine Titles were displayed in the opening sequence of 30 days of Night. Stated in the article on watch the titles," The audience is confronted with a sequence of highly disquieting images that cross-dissolve or fade to black. Details of torn and tainted photographs, northern lights, shadows, a bloody tooth embedded in a thick layer of ice and references to the Alaskan wintercape. Brian Reitzell‘s haunting score greatly enhances the discomforting atmosphere." The titles in this opening sequence are simple in all white, however in all capitial letters to state the importantance. Commercial Group Blog

                  I have come to the decision to create my commercial alone. On short assignments such as the commercial, I prefer to work alone. I have found when you have a group on individuals on an assignment like this one, there is too many ideas and voices to be represented. Another reason I choose to work alone is so I am accountable for my own work. This eliminates the stress of having to make sure everyone submits and does their part of the assignment. I feel when I work alone, I'm the one to have the control over the assignment and can raise the standards. My exceptions for projects is set really high and working with people that don't match my work ethic and standards adds more work for me then what's needed. My personality matches with working alone.
