Storyboards of Fun

Image
The storyboard is an easy way for me to create pictures of what I want my shots to individually look like. From the beginning of my music video to the end I can plan each individual shot and that includes the type of shot or action and props needed. My music video will be made up of majority of quick shots from long distances away. Some will be POV shots, closeups, actor held shots. To help you understand my creation I will go one by one and break down the shots by my view of the shot, props needed, and camera angle. At the beginning there will be a trigger warning for flashing lights and then cut to the songs credits and title.   Scene one's location is in a bedroom with the character laying on the bed bored and being tired of life. The costume is a lazy fit of legging and a hoodie.  Scene two- Above the actor on the wall is photos of memories and the good times in her life. The camera will slowly zoom in during the time the actor will sit up and move her hand over the photos as

Planning the Music Video

Props: I have no main props used in my music video. The side props being used are my white ice skates and pictures. However, vehicles possibly being used are my boat and car.  Costumes:   In my music video I will not be the main character in certain shots, but in the ice skating rink scene and car scene I will be the main one shown. My costume in the festival scene consists of a swimsuit and beachy. The mood is very party like and casual, over the scenes I will go through three costume changes. In the ice rink my costume will most likely consist of comfy wear that keeps me warm such as sweatpants and jacket. The boat scene would consist of swimwear and a hat.  The car scene would consist of costumes that are nice and stylish such as jeans and a shirt. Schedule: On 11/09/2021 I received the assignment and brain stormed my idea. On 11/16/2021 I conducted the research and started working on my plan plus backup plan. On 11/17/2021 My storyboards will be created to map out each scene.  On

The Nights Behind the Scenes

The nights is an Avicii classic up beat fast moving song making it easy to relate and dance to. The sound was inspired by the bars in Ireland. Avicii wrote the song to remind the listeners to live freely and lightly. Obstacles will be thrown their way, but remember the good times and moments that make life worth it. Avicii said," Figure out what you're most passionate about in life and what you're good at. And the mixture betweeen those two and then you should give it your all, all the time."  The nights music video was to represent Avicii living his life doing activities such as traveling, cliff jumping, and more. The video was produced, directed by, and stars "professional life liver" Rory Kramer, who filmed an exuberant action-packed recollection of his own life roller coasters, surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, sky diving, and hot air ballon flying. He states his life experiences as," living a life to be remembered." The nights is

My Music Video Group

Image
I have made the decision to work alone for the music video, in order to receive the product I want. I have found when you have a group on individuals on an assignment like this one, there is too many ideas and voices to be represented. Another reason I choose to work alone is so I am accountable for my own work. This eliminates the stress of having to make sure everyone submits and does their part of the assignment. I feel when I work alone, I'm the one to have the control over the assignment and can raise the standards. My exceptions for projects is set really high and working with people that don't match my work ethic and standards adds more work for me then what's needed. My personality matches with working alone. I'm an over-achiever and like to challenge myself to the best work I can turn in. In addition, I'm very creative and do not like to turn in the average projects or assignments. Working alone also allows me to fit the project to my schedule. I'
