Storyboards of Fun
The storyboard is an easy way for me to create pictures of what I want my shots to individually look like. From the beginning of my music video to the end I can plan each individual shot and that includes the type of shot or action and props needed. My music video will be made up of majority of quick shots from long distances away. Some will be POV shots, closeups, actor held shots. To help you understand my creation I will go one by one and break down the shots by my view of the shot, props needed, and camera angle. At the beginning there will be a trigger warning for flashing lights and then cut to the songs credits and title.
Scene one's location is in a bedroom with the character laying on the bed bored and being tired of life. The costume is a lazy fit of legging and a hoodie.
Scene two- Above the actor on the wall is photos of memories and the good times in her life. The camera will slowly zoom in during the time the actor will sit up and move her hand over the photos as shown in story block 2.
Scene 3- Leading onto scene three of a close up of the actors hand stoping on a certain photograph.
Scene 4- Acts as a flashback the photo takes her back to the memories of the photo. The costume is beach wear of a swimsuit top and jean shorts. The shots range from Pov's to slow mo and fit to the music.
Scene 5- Cuts back to the actors hand moving to another image of friends at an ice skating rink.
Scene 6- Consists of costumes such as hoodies and warm clothes. The shots are close ups of the main character grabbing her skates off of the dresser with a backpack on.
Scene 7- Close up shots at the rink of friends and her and the skates.
Scene 8- Cuts to another scene where her hand moves over a car photo.
Scene 9- Consist of drone footage on top of a parking garage during sunset.
Scene 10- Is a ton of shots quickly put to together of fun videos.
Scene 11- Cuts back to the actor looking at the photos.
Scene 12- The ending scene where the actor grabs a bag and heads out the door. Then the scene fades out.
