Genre Research for Action

Common camera angles include high angles, low angles, over the shoulder, tracking shot, POV, and aerial shots. These camera angles are used in the genre for action in order to add to the suspense. The action genre in the costume department normally consists of male actors wearing a tight top and cargo pants with an army boot and on the other hand female actors in tight short clothing. The lighting is natural light from the sun or its dark. In terms of acting, the emotions of the characters adds to  the suspense and justifies the characters actions. The makeup usage in action films is minimal however used to add marks from the setting on the actors skin and to create believable cuts and injuries. Props used in action films are survival gear, a weapon, but it depends of the film. Majoroty of action films are based outside or in an adandoned location with dignetic sound, sound bridges, and background noise. The editting of the films are fast paced including action match, jump cuts, and cross cutting. If filming an action film I would use all the components above, however change up the actors clothings so it not tight.
