Genre research: Deadly switch

Deadly Switch follows the guides of an amazing thriller film with the story about a foreign exchange student becomes the target of a stalker. Seeking refuge, she accepts an invitation from her roommate to stay at her family home in an idyllic town. But it proves to be far from a safe haven.

Camera angles used in Deadly Switch are Tracking Shots, over the shoulder, close ups, extreme close ups. These camera angles and shots help capture the suspenseful moments in the movie.

The plot has lots of twists and turns that doesn't end in the usual way of most thriller movies. For example the costumes being used fit the scenes really well. The exchange student at the bar was dresses like the scene and not in sweatpants with a hoodie. The makeup also matched the scene and location. The stalker was held to the the sterotypes of a white male stalker. A man wearing a black hoodie and shirt, with black jeans. His face was covered with a bandana and walk was slow and not real close to the main character.

Aspects of this thriller that I liked was the bestfriend of the main character being a girl bestfriend duo. The best friend helped the main character when she was being followed by her stalker. However, I wish the setting of the movie was a bit more non- sterotypical. rather then the setting be at the girls house and having the stalker be a steroytpical white male.
