Music Festival Time



    Its Festival time, Im so excited to see some of my favorite artists. This past weekend was the highly famous music festival. I went to the festival with my close friend Taylor Lamont. I got to see my favorite artists such as Hardy, Luke Bryan, Pitbull and many other artists. The music festival is used to raise money for ocean conservation and awareness research. Day One was very exciting and I made sure to try and get shots while the crowd was still building and majority of the festival was empty. I got a mix of low angle shots, high angle shots, POV shots, and more. The music festival adds to my music video because of the fun activities and personalities seen during the festival. My friend Taylor and I decided to sleepover at my house and wake up early in order be there for opening the gates. The reason we wanted to be up against the barricades was due to some of our favorite artists. I got many over the shoulder shots and high angle shots of my friend and I. My friend Taylor got a guitar pick from one of the brands that performed before Luke Bryan. I got my festival hat and Tyler Booth shirt with many other items. The final day of the Festival we decided to sleep in and head to the beach later that day. The main reason I went on the third day was to see pitbull. I got many shots of the crowd jumping and that artists singing. I decided to leave early the third and final day due to having school the next morning. The next morning I woke up at 5am and went through all the clips I got. The festival contributes to the idea behind the song of going to leave your life. That same day pitbull gave a speech about living our lives to the fullest because we only have one life.

As the title states, there has been a change of plans in terms of the product of my final task.  I will have to cut the total amount of script to a minimum.  I have changed my aspect of what I want to create and I am leaning more towards a euphoria aspect. In euphoria contains flashbacks with a monotone voiceover. Title Design Research: Thriller 30 days of Night

  1.      How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Ni- Nine Titles were displayed in the opening sequence of 30 days of Night. Stated in the article on watch the titles," The audience is confronted with a sequence of highly disquieting images that cross-dissolve or fade to black. Details of torn and tainted photographs, northern lights, shadows, a bloody tooth embedded in a thick layer of ice and references to the Alaskan wintercape. Brian Reitzell‘s haunting score greatly enhances the discomforting atmosphere." The titles in this opening sequence are simple in all white, however in all capitial letters to state the importantance. Commercial Group Blog

                  I have come to the decision to create my commercial alone. On short assignments such as the commercial, I prefer to work alone. I have found when you have a group on individuals on an assignment like this one, there is too many ideas and voices to be represented. Another reason I choose to work alone is so I am accountable for my own work. This eliminates the stress of having to make sure everyone submits and does their part of the assignment. I feel when I work alone, I'm the one to have the control over the assignment and can raise the standards. My exceptions for projects is set really high and working with people that don't match my work ethic and standards adds more work for me then what's needed. My personality matches with working alone.
