Props: My main prop for my New Balance commercial is my softball new balance cleats. However other props will be included like a bat, glove, and softball bag. 

Costumes: In my commercial I will be the main subject. My costume would be me Fort Lauderdale High School Varsity softball uniform. The uniform consists my black and blue number 13 jersey. Black and blue sliding pants with blue socks and belt. I would show my putting on and tying up my cleats. I will have to wear a headband in order to keep my hair out of my face. For shots with head gear on I will have to wear my hair in a low ponytail. 

Schedule: 

On 09/20/2021 I will received the assignment and start brainstorming ideas.

On 09/22/2021 I will conduct research and filming plans including back up plan.

On 09/24/2021 Storyboard will be created for the 30 second commercial.

On 09/28/2021 Filming process will begin to record the necessary shots.

On 09/30/2021 I will edit the shots together and finalize with effects and music. 

Location: The only location being used in shots is the softball field. On the softball field, I will film out field shots, tying up my cleats, and my main shot would be my sliding shot. Another scene I'm thinking of filming is the walk out to the field. 

Backup Plan: If the weather is not on my side that day and its a light rain Im still planning on filming however filming on my go pro. This can emphasize how durable the cleats are in any weather. If the weather is not then Im planning on filming my process to get ready for softball. For example collecting my bag and cleats, putting on music, and a half shot/transition of me wearing my uniform.

Change of Plans

As the title states, there has been a change of plans in terms of the product of my final task.  I will have to cut the total amount of script to a minimum.  I have changed my aspect of what I want to create and I am leaning more towards a euphoria aspect. In euphoria contains flashbacks with a monotone voiceover. Title Design Research: Thriller 30 days of Night

  1.      How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Ni- Nine Titles were displayed in the opening sequence of 30 days of Night. Stated in the article on watch the titles," The audience is confronted with a sequence of highly disquieting images that cross-dissolve or fade to black. Details of torn and tainted photographs, northern lights, shadows, a bloody tooth embedded in a thick layer of ice and references to the Alaskan wintercape. Brian Reitzell‘s haunting score greatly enhances the discomforting atmosphere." The titles in this opening sequence are simple in all white, however in all capitial letters to state the importantance. Commercial Group Blog

                  I have come to the decision to create my commercial alone. On short assignments such as the commercial, I prefer to work alone. I have found when you have a group on individuals on an assignment like this one, there is too many ideas and voices to be represented. Another reason I choose to work alone is so I am accountable for my own work. This eliminates the stress of having to make sure everyone submits and does their part of the assignment. I feel when I work alone, I'm the one to have the control over the assignment and can raise the standards. My exceptions for projects is set really high and working with people that don't match my work ethic and standards adds more work for me then what's needed. My personality matches with working alone.
