Finals storyboards
The storyboard is an easy way for me to create pictures of what I want my shots to individually look like. From the beginning of my opening to the end I can plan each individual shot and that includes the type of shot or action and props needed. My opening clip will be made up of majority of quick shots extreme close ups. Some will be POV shots, closeups, actor held shots. To help you understand my creation I will go one by one and break down the shots by my view of the shot, props needed, and camera angle.
Scene 1- Is a close up of a cell phone on the counter ringing with the caller id: Unknown, this continues for 2 shots.
Scene 2- Katelin the main character picks up her phone and answers from a POV shot. That then switches to the a side angle of katelin on the phone and then to a close up of her mouth saying hello. Her eyes will widen when she hears the unknown callers voice.
Scene 3- Is an extreme close up of her heavy breathing, then it cuts to her running up the stairs and placing a empty duffle bag on the table. She fills the bag with a water bottle, clothes and other things to last a few days.
Scene 4- She grabs her keys and heads out the door and to the truck. The next clip is a tracking shot of the truck driving. It pulls up the place needed and hops out. The tailgate of the trucks opens to. Reveal the duffle bag and then actor closes the tailgate.
Scene 5- The background there is going to be a snap of a stick in the background. This leads to the cut to a over the should shot in which the actor looks around. The close up of the mouth to the words," whose there." The close up of the eyes looking around to add to the suspense.
Scene 6- Consist of a long distance shot of the shed door closing.
Scene 7- Consist of mainly close up shots.
